Ssōne is committed to working towards a zero-waste future, and a more humanitarian approach to the things we wear and own. Re-Ssōne is a series of evolving initiatives which repurposes offcuts from the production process, deadstock materials and vintage fabrics to create unique pieces and objects with seasonless appeal. By minimising waste through circularity and reconnecting with artisanal communities, Ssōne seeks to reduce our impact on the environment.
Re Ssōne sees the launch of a core capsule collection that will evolve as an ongoing project to utilise excess and waste fabrics incorporating handcrafts; at times applied to existing garments or used to create new limited editions pieces — dependent on the fabric being used.
To celebrate the launch of our debut Re-Ssōne collection, we held our first workshop with denim mending and customisation workshop with Malin Dyer. Inspiring a new and longer lifecycle for your garments as part of the Re-Ssōne series of responsible initiatives, working towards a zero-waste future.
This floral display was created in partnership with @theflowerbx, using dried leftover flowers to give each bloom a longer life.
